CLINICAL PEELS

What is Clinical Peels

Clinical peels (also known as chemical peels) are professional skin treatments that use acidic solutions to exfoliate the skin, remove dead skin cells, and stimulate new skin growth. They help improve skin texture, tone, acne, hyperpigmentation, and aging signs. Allowing fresh, healthy skin to emerge.

Benefits of Clinical Peels

  • Smooths skin texture and reduces roughness
  • Brightens complexion by removing dead skin cells
  • Unclogs pores & reduces acne
  • Reduces fine lines & wrinkles by boosting collagen
  • Fades hyperpigmentation & sunspots
  • Improves overall skin tone & glow

Types of Clinical Peels & Their Benefits

Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA)

Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) Peels are a group of water-soluble acids derived from natural sources like fruit, milk & sugar cane, Glycolic (sugar cane), Lactic (milk), Mandelic (almonds), Cytric (citrus fruit), Malic (apple) & Tartaric (grapes). They Loosen the bonds between dead skin cells, helping them shed more easily. This results in smoother texture, brighter skin tone, Improved hydration & Reduced fine lines & pigmentation

Benefits of AHAs:

Gentle Exfoliation – Removes dead skin cells for a smoother, more radiant complexion.
Boosts Collagen Production – Helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles by increasing skin firmness.
Brightens Skin Tone – Fades dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage for an even complexion.
Increases Skin Hydration – Some AHAs (like lactic acid) improve moisture retention, making the skin plumper and softer.
Reduces Acne & Breakouts – Helps prevent clogged pores, blackheads, and whiteheads.
Improves Absorption of Products – By removing the top layer of dead skin, AHAs enhance the penetration of serums and moisturizers.

Types of Clinical Peels & Their Benefits

Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA)

Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) Peels is derived from Willow bark, sweet birch. It is an oil-soluble exfoliating acid that penetrates deep into pores, helping to unclog them, remove excess oil, and reduce acne. BHAs go deeper, making them ideal for oily, acne-prone, and congested skin.

Benefits of BHAs

Deep Cleans Pores – Penetrates inside the pores to remove dirt, oil, and dead skin cells.
Prevents & Treats Acne – Helps reduce blackheads, whiteheads, and breakouts.
Controls Oil Production – Regulates sebum for a balanced, matte complexion.
Reduces Redness & Inflammation – Soothes acne-prone and sensitive skin.
Minimizes the Appearance of Pores – Keeps pores clear and refined.
Exfoliates Without Irritation – Less harsh than physical scrubs, making it gentle for sensitive skin.
Fades Post-Acne Marks & Dark Spots – Speeds up skin renewal to reduce hyperpigmentation.
Helps with Keratosis Pilaris (KP) – Smooths rough, bumpy skin on arms and legs.
