What is Skin Needling
Skin Needling (Collagen Induction Therapy – CIT) is a non-invasive clinical treatment that uses microscopic needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, penetrating the epidermis and dermis.
This process activates the body's natural wound-healing response, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. As a result, the skin undergoes regeneration, repair, and remodeling, leading to improved texture, firmness, and overall appearance.
Skin Needling can visibly improve the appearance of:
- Fine lines and wrinkles – Stimulates collagen production to smooth and firm the skin.
- Acne scars and surgical scars – Encourages skin regeneration to reduce the depth and texture of scars.
- Enlarged pores – Helps tighten and refine pores for a smoother complexion.
- Stretch marks – Promotes skin remodeling to improve texture and tone.

CLINICAL POST CARE INFORMATION
During the skin healing process, minor itching, hives, flaking or redness may appear.
- Do not pick, squeeze or aggravate during the recovery period
- Please avoid the following activities for up to 2 days following a skin needling treatment:
- Direct ultra violet exposure (sun or solariums)
- Intensive cardio, exercise or gymnasium regimens
- Excessively hot showers, baths, spas or saunas
- spray or self tanning
- swimming in chlorinated pools or the ocean
Please avoid the following activities for up to 2 weeks following a skin needling treatment
- Further clinical treatments including but not limited to: Microdermabrasion, Laser, Intense Pulse Light (IPL), Medium to Deep Peels, Muscle relaxant injections, and Dermal Layering
- Tattooing including cosmetic tattooing
